Venom Returns to Ultimate Spider-Man?
by Wesley Johnson ~ May 9th, 2008. Filed under: .IGN posted an “exclusive” cover tease for issue #125 of Ultimate Spider-Man. The cover clearly shows our hero being overtaken by black goo which, of course, hints at the re-introduction of the symbiote that is Venom.
The post also contained a quote from series editor Bill Roseman which reads:
“What is that icky black goo crawling up Spider-Man’s body? What does this disgusting development have to do with the saga we call ‘The War of the Symbiotes’? Are Brian Michael Bendis and Stuart Immonen creating an instant classic? The answer to the first two questions can be found in Ultimate Spider-Man #125…and the answer to the third question, is ‘Yes…’cause, Tiger, you just hit the jackpot!’”
Perhaps I need to subscribe to Ultimate Spider-Man now … hmmm.
