Beyond Good & Evil 2 Screenshots

Thursday, May 29th, 2008

The above screen is taken from the upcoming Playstation 3 sequel to Beyond Good & Evil. The original, in my opinion, is one of the more criminally overlooked games in recent history. Hopefully more will be exposed to its majesty through the new installment.

Gamepro has additional screenshots that are quite beautiful as well.

Sony Denies Spider-man Casting Rumors

Thursday, May 29th, 2008

Rumors of Toby Maguire being replaced with a younger actor in the next Spider-Man film have been denied by Sony Pictures. Over the past few weeks, several sites have reported that Patrick Fugit (Saved!) and Michael Angarano (Sky High) were under consideration to fill the role of our hero. The casting of a more youthful Spidey led some to believe the next installment of the series would take on a new direction.

This widespread rumor was ruled false yesterday with Sony/Columbia’s Steve Elzer mentioning to IESB that, “No one is being considered for the role but Tobey. Period.” Sony PR folks are now attempting to contact all sites reporting on the casting rumor to ask them to remove the story.
