Can Justice Leage Save Smallville?

Let’s face it, the quality of Smallville has dwindled over the past couple of seasons. I do appreciate their attempt to make the series more comic nerd friendly by including characters like Cyborg, The Green Arrow, and Aquaman, but, sub-par writing and acting has eliminated any amount of cool those characters brought to the table.
TV Guide has posted an article which states that Oliver Queen/The Green Arrow will assemble a new band of heroes early this season that will include “Aquaman and Black Canary” to rescue Clark. Martian Manhunter will also make a return appearance in the opening episode.
