Aaron Sorkin to Make Facebook Movie

Aaron Sorkin, whom you’ll remember as the creator of shows such as The West Wing and Studio 60 on Sunset Strip, currently has a film telling the story of how social networking website Facebook.com was formed. Sorkin apparently is having trouble figuring out how he’ll write the film so he has launched a profile on the site as part of his research. I did a search today in hopes to add but he has apparently made the profile private or has reached the maximum amount of friends.
Some news sources managed to snag a quote from his profile regarding the project. He writes, “”I figured a good first step in my preparation would be finding out what Facebook is, so I’ve started this page. If anyone has any questions, I’d be happy to answer them as best I can. If anyone has any comments, I’m glad to listen.” He continues, “I have very strong feelings about the internet and its effect on our national culture, but frankly those feelings are being countered by the sophistication, kindness, curiosity and wit of the posts in this site.”
To the best of my knowledge, there wasn’t much of a splash made after Facebook’s initial launch. Is there any part of this story that could be made remotely entertaining? Tell me in the comments.
