Ridley Scott Options Brave New World

Rumors of a Voltron film circulated across the web last week. They have now been confirmed by the scoopsters at LatinoReview.com. According to the site, Max Makowski (One Last Dance) has signed on to direct the project from a script by Justin Marks (Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li). Makowski’s resume is very slim but the Latino Review writer speaks very highly of One Last Dance so I will attempt to maintain a positive mental attitude about this.

The producers plan to use the same production technique that 300 did in hopes to stay within their “moderate budget”. They hope to have the film in theaters some time in 2010.
