The Dirty Projectors Featured On ABC News

This week’s New Music Monday segment from ABC News features a band from Brooklyn, New York called The Dirty Projectors. You can call them an indie band, but their sound is as eclectic as it gets. It’s hard to compare them to anybody– Deerhoof maybe? Elvis Costello? This era’s Talking Heads or Fleetwood Mac’s Tusk album? Who cares, they’re good. And David Byrne even guests on their single Knotty Pine.
Their new record, Bitte Orca, comes out today via Domino Records. ABC News Producer/Editor Zach Fannin calls it the album of the year.
