What’s foiliogram, you ask? Well, according to the Marvel press release it’s a new “part foil, part hologram” cover treatment. Ultimate Comics Armor Wars #1, Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #1, and Ultimate Comics Avengers #1 will all have a special, foilogram-treated variant available on the day of their releases.

“This is Marvel doing the nineties right,” explained Marvel’s David Gabriel. “We’re taking two of the most popular cover treatments of all time — foil and holograms — to create an all new kind of cover, as a ‘thank-you’ to fans who’ve been demanding this kind of variant!”
