Civilization Network Headed to Facebook

Sid Meier’s Civilization franchise is headed to popular social networking craze Facebook. How the complexities of the series will translate to quick bursts of play while your boss isn’t looking have yet to be revealed.
According to the newly created fan page for the upcoming title, “Civilization Network will allow you to join together with your friends to create the world’s most powerful, richest, smartest, or just plain coolest civilization.”
The game will be free to play, and is slated to launch at some point next year. They have also stated that it will be a “fully persistent environment.” What exactly this will entail has yet to be revealed.

Very much interested in this. Hope it turns out to be the first social network game I ever play
