Despite all the complaining, many rushed out to buy Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Tuesday. Today, Activision, the game’s publisher, sent out a press release proclaiming that the game had an estimated sell-through of $310 million in North America and the UK during its first 24 hours of availability, making it the largest launch in history across all forms of entertainment.
Did you purchase one of the 4.7 million copies sold on the first day? If so, leave us a comment letting us know if it met your expectations.

I bought during my lunch break on Tuesday and played it that night for a bit. The single-players is quite a let-down from the first game. Story doesn’t make any sense and I was getting frustrated on the “Normal” difficulty level. Multiplayer is everything I dreamed of and than some. Spec-Ops is fun for the whole 30 mins I played of it, did I mention that multiplayer is really awesome?
